iOS & Android Apps

One product. Built for both platforms.

Design and develop iOS and Android apps with React Native and Expo, shared foundations, and thoughtful platform-specific experiences.

Discuss your project

01 / Why it matters

An app idea needs a path to everyday use.

An app has to work beyond the prototype: on different devices, with real accounts and data, and through the steps people repeat every day. A clear scope keeps the first release useful and manageable.

We connect product decisions, mobile design and engineering, then prepare tested builds and a practical route to release.

02 / What we create

One service. The right parts for your project.

Choose an area to see what we create and how it helps.

Start with a useful first version.

Define who the app serves, what it helps them do and which features belong in the first release.

  • Feature priorities and release scope
  • User journeys and interactive prototypes
  • Navigation, onboarding and platform conventions

How it helps
A shared direction before development starts, with less guesswork about what to build.

Shared foundations. Considered details.

Build with React Native and Expo, sharing appropriate code while adapting navigation, interaction and device features to each platform.

  • Reusable components and TypeScript
  • Platform-specific behaviour and native features
  • Loading, empty and error states

How it helps
A coherent product on iOS and Android, with room for the differences that matter.

Keep the experience connected.

Bring together the app and its supporting services, with account access and data handling designed around the product.

  • APIs, accounts and secure local storage
  • Synchronisation and offline behaviour where needed
  • Notifications and permissions where useful

How it helps
Users can continue their work with clear feedback when a connection or permission needs attention.

03 / How we deliver

A clear path from the first decision to handover.

01

Scope

Choose the core user tasks and define the first release.

02

Prototype

Test journeys, navigation and interface decisions early.

03

Develop & test

Build connected features and review realistic device flows.

04

Prepare release

Configure builds, prepare store materials and hand over the release process.

04 / What you receive

Practical work. Ready to use.

  • App designsJourneys, layouts, navigation and relevant interface states.
  • Source codeThe agreed React Native application and reusable foundations.
  • Connected servicesAccount, API and notification connections within scope.
  • Test coverageMeaningful checks for selected logic and mobile journeys.
  • Build configurationDevelopment, preview and distribution build setup.
  • Release handoverStore preparation, access and maintenance guidance.

Tools chosen for the task.

We select the tools around your scope, existing systems and ongoing needs.

Mobile foundations

React Native and Expo support native platform components, shared code and access to device capabilities.

Builds & delivery

Expo EAS creates development and distribution builds. GitHub Actions can run checks as the product changes.

Testing

TypeScript catches type errors; Jest checks logic and components. Maestro can exercise important app flows on devices.

05 / Questions

A few things worth knowing.

Can shared code still use native device features?

Yes. React Native uses native platform components, and Expo supports many device features. We review the required capabilities early; some features need platform-specific code, native modules or configuration.

Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?

Store preparation and submission support can be included in scope. This covers build configuration and the required app materials, using your developer accounts. Store review and approval remain the responsibility of Apple and Google.

How do updates and maintenance work?

We agree how fixes, operating-system changes and new features are handled. Updates may require a new store build; eligible changes can use the appropriate Expo update workflow. Monitoring and ongoing support are scoped around the app.
